Amazing comfort while providing great support and pressure relief (Great for People with Back Issues)

I was seeking a new mattress that was comparable to the Serta Savant III Medium Foam mattress (it is the BEST mattress I've ever purchased). I chose the CF3000 as its replacement. Its cooling features are not apparent to me as I sleep hot; however, I did purchase the snow mattress protector though which provides an improved level of coolness. I'm a side sleeper with a history of cervical spine and sciatic nerve issues so I require a firm mattress that still provides pressure point relief. I found it with this mattress. It is still a new mattress that has not been broken in yet so while still "stiff", I can tell that once it is broken it, it will be an extremely comfortable bed. In addition to the bed being perfect for my condition, I worked with Serta directly and will say that their customer service team is top notch. I will forever be Serta loyal!

Bad for side sleepers

The plush top is soft at first but after a while you sink and hit "rock" bottom. You might as well be sleeping on the floor. Not sure if it's the underlaying coils or if the fabric doesn't stretch enough. To be honest my wife likes the feel of hers, granted she weights like 50 lb less than I do. Also, one of the mattresses we got is defective with one of the corners measuring about an inch less than the rest of the mattress. We are returning these; but they are making us pay a hefty restocking fee even though they had said that returns are ok if you buy a mattress protective cover, which we did.

Based on my experience, I would NOT even accept this mattress if someone paid me to take it! That's how bad it is! Don't do it! You'll regret it within 1-3 years if you do! I'm hoping my review might save other people from making the same mistake I did, and also having to live in the extreme pain that I do now. I wrongfully assumed that my serta cf 3000 plush would be a great, reliable and durable mattress because the brand Serta has been around for so long. I was beyond excited when I purchased it (less than 2 years ago). At the time I purchased it, I even thought it was a decent price for a little over $2,000. Now (less than 2 years later!) it is sagging so badly that I wake up in EXCRUCIATING PAIN! My back, neck and shoulders hurt more than any pain I've ever experienced! My initial thoughts when I bought it was that the price was reasonable, but less than 2 years later I can honestly say that I would NOT accept this mattress if it was offered to me for FRER! THAT'S how bad the pain is! The plush comfort lasted for approximately 19 months. Now I'm stuck with a droopy, ridiculously squishy and saggy mattress that causes so much pain it causes me to wake up multiple times every night to readjust because I hurt so badly. When I wake up in the morning the pain is agonizing, and doesn't go away for several hours. Just know that it may feel great in the store, and you may even love it for a short time at home…but sooner than later you'll remember my review, realize what a mistake the purchase was and you'll wish you had purchased a $50 used mattress from a garage sale because it probably would've felt better and been more durable than the cf3000 plush! I don't know if the sagginess measures low enough to meet the warranty criteria yet so I'll be stuck with this horrendous pain every night and every morning until it does. Sorry for such a long review but I hope that people take my review into consideration before buying this mattress or before assuming that a Serta mattress will be durable simply because the company has been around for so long.

Had to return due to excessive off gassing

This is a very comfortable mattress. It's firmer than most foam-based plush mattresses, but had enough give for a side sleeper. The problem with this mattress is its toxicity and how much it off-gassed. I was only able to sleep on the mattress 1 night and woke up with a terrible headache and have been having an ongoing asthma attack since. We left the mattress in our bedroom with fans pulling fresh air through it for a week, but it didn't get any better. We eventually decided to return it. The chemical smell it left in our bedroom is still so intense 2 weeks later, we're having to steam-clean the carpets and drapes. I've never had this kind of issue with a mattress (or any new furniture) before. Definitely steer clear of this mattress.

Ultra plush firm

Very sad that I spent this much of my money on a firm mattress. We had the plush first and traded it in for the ultra plush thinking it would be perfect but it's just as firm. I toss and turn all night and my back hurts. These are not plush at all.

Far from plush

The mattress is very firm. We initially laid on a medium mattress in the store. It was soft, supportive and comfortable. So we ordered it. When it was finally delivered, we realized it was significantly more firm then the show floor mattress. We slept on it for a couple days before going back to the store, we confirmed the one there that we tried was labeled the same, yet it was significantly softer. The store agreed to replace it and we decided to order a plush to hopefully avoid any more issues. The plush showed up. It is just as firm. Still no where close to the store that's labeled medium. No clue how the plush is just as hard as the medium we got, yet the store medium is still softer then both. We will be contacting the store again and returning it. Definitely would not recommend this mattress, very disappointed in it.

Very Firm

We had an Icomfort Savant series mattress which was the most comfortable bed we had ever had. Decided we needed a king size and went with a CF3000 Plush. It's far from plush. It seems it's made very well but it produces awful back aches and a miserable nights sleep. Fortunately the furniture store I purchased it from worked with us on swapping it out for a different mattress.

Attractive, Sleek, but Way Too Firm to be a Plush Mattress

I've had this mattress about a year now. I wanted to love it, but it never happened. I made the mistake of buying the mattress sight unseen and fell for the word "plush" in its name. It's not plush at all. It's very firm. It's the firmest mattress I have ever owned or tried out in a store, even firmer than mattresses labeled "firm." So, I've added a 2-inch foam topper followed by a 1-inch cotton luxury mattress pad, and now the mattress is comfortable enough. Underneath my added foam and cotton layers, the CF3000 Plush does offer me the right support in the right places. What I don't like now is how thick my mattress is because of the layers I had to add. And I don't like having to straighten out the added layers every morning when making the bed. I might try another Serta mattress, but I will definitely try it out in a store before I do. Mattress names and claimed firmness/softness levels can be so misleading.

Disappointing CF3000 Plush

We previously had a Serta icomfort foam mattress that we really liked. It has since been discontinued and Serta told me this icomfort foam cf3000 plush was its replacement and was very similar. The foam cf3000plush is firm, no way would we call it plush. Wish we would looked at other brands instead of buying this mattress.

This product and the materials constructed inside of it helps me sleep sooooo well! I have not had a troubled night sleeping on this wonderful mattress. I was able to fet the mattress on sale which is a plus but with added fees and tax it just ended up being the regular price??? So i guess i saved from that originally??? I was thrilled to receive this mattress. It came packaged nicely and was very clean. I didn't even have to air it out as it had no odor. I loved the soft top I got. Never will I ever go back to a spring mattress as the foam holds your back in a perfect position and keeps the pressure off the spine.

Firm mattress with a plush top.

I would describe as this a firm mattress with a plush top. I feel supported but has a softer top. It took a while to get used to it. I changed from an old unsupportive mattress with a 5" foam topper. That seemed really comfortable at first. Then after several months my back and hip pain became much worse. Was advised to buy a firmer mattress. I was able to go in store and try several of Serta's mattresses before I decided on this one. After adjusting to the firmness I really like it and back pain has lessened. I use with the Serra Motion Essentials which makes sleeping on my back more tolerable.

After 5 years you will not sleep and be in pain

I don't know which icomfort I have . It says granduer on it, king size. We have rotated the bed so much that rotating does nothing. 5-6 years in and my partner and I no longer sleep and have severe back and shoulder pains. I flipped the mattress over to test out the bottom. It's not soft but I slept fine and no pain. Lots of money for something that doesn't even last 10 years.

We had a Costco bed for about 5 years and I would always lay down feeling like I could not get comfortable enough and wake up with a sore back. It just increased as the bed got older and more holes formed where my boyfriend and I slept. One day I decided no more and we visited our local furniture store. It is quite daunting walking into a huge warehouse full of different mattress all rated differently, differently materials etc. As I walked around laying on each bed I just kept getting drawn back to how comfortable this one was. My boyfriend was extremely hesitant because of the price and wanted to do online research. After researching online we finally did it and purchased it. I must say as clique as it sounds neither of us have slept this good in as long as we can remember. Truly I did not know just how comfortable a bed can truly be. No more back pain. The only complaint is it's challenging to convince ourselves to get up for work! Absolutely amazing. Perfect firmness, temperature and material.

Great once it softens up

The mattress I tried in the store felt luxurious! the mattress that was delivered felt like laying on concrete. It took about a month and a half for it to soften up, it was so uncomfortable I even tried returning it. I couldn't sleep very well, I woke up with sore shoulders and hips and one morning a stiff neck so bad I couldn't move my head for a full day. I know it has softened because when I first sat on the edge of the bed to put my shoes on my feet barely touched the ground, now when I sit on the edge my feet are firmly flat on the ground. Once it softens up it is a very comfortable mattress, and it stays cool all night. However, in the winter months if you keep your house cool like we do in the mid 60's, it is like laying on an ice pad! keep that in mind if you live in a cold environment. yes it keeps you cool in the summer but it also keeps you cooler in the winter. Overall I am happy with my mattress, now I crawl into bed after a long day at work and actually fall asleep in a matter of minutes, that first month and a half I was cussing at it. I would say the medium is like a super firm for the first month and a half. then it softens up to feel as it should be as a medium.

Difficult to Assess Specific Needs - CF3000 Plush

Serta deserves credit for taking back mattresses that I wasn't satisfied with. The exchange process was a bit slow and tedious but at least they did it. My initial issues were that I bought a firm conventional mattress and my sleep was horrible. I paid for an upgrade and got a CF3000 Plush, which had a slight tear in the side. No problem, they offered a free replacement. Serta reps are hard to reach on the phone and they are very busy. When I asked the rep if I should get or try to get a Plush Ultra because I found the Plush mattress very firm, she actually stated that she believed that all 3 models were the same with different tags attached. She said, it just takes time for a foam mattress to contour to your body. I was frustrated and dropped the question to simply await my exchange. The new arrival, supposedly Plush, is also extremely, FIRM. My shoulders ache, my arms lose all feeling and I can't wait to get out of bed. Still, I'm going to wait 30 days and see if it's true that it will adjust to me. As for the cool mattress factor, it doesn't make a body cool, what it does is not warm or heat you up, which does the job it should. Bottom line - the CF3000 Plush is a FIRM mattress. Serta could save a lot of trouble just by having a better communication method with customers needing exchanges. After all, if you're looking for firm, you might just love this mattress.

I recently received this I come for CF 3000 plush memory foam bed and I am so impressed. I have spent a lot of time researching and looking at new beds as our old one had seen better days and was ready to be replaced. This bed has exceeded my expectations in every way. The fabric on the mattress itself is very high-quality and so soft soft. I have found because of the fabric that they used to create the outer layer of this bed sheets are very easy to put on and they actually stay on. The mattress itself is very thick and plush. I wake up every morning without soreness in my body and I can thank this bed for that. This is by far the softest bed I have ever slept on but while it is so soft it is very supportive and I never feel like I am sinking in or getting lost in the mattress. As a person who sleeps with a partner in my bed I found that weight does not transfer and we have both slept so much better not being interrupted by the other person rolling over or trying to get comfortable. One thing that really shocked me about this bad was the claim that it would stay cool which it absolutely does. This has allowed me to sleep soundly through the night without feeling like I am overheating. This is an incredible quality bed and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great memory foam bed.

My body melts into this mattress

This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. It's hugs the natural curves of my body and supports my back. It is soft yet firm and it feels like I am melting into my mattress when I lay down. I get better sleep and my visits to the chiropractor have been decreasing with time. I can tell that the fabric used to cover this mattresses high quality. Overall a perfect mattress for somebody who needs support yet prefers a soft mattress.

Very comfortable mattress

This mattress has impressed me in many ways! I previously had a pillow top memory foam that id say was a bit more 'plush', but i believe that it to be expected from a pillow top. This one id still consider plush. It's comfortable, while still being quite solid. You don't disturb other sleepers when moving or getting up. My kids often sleep with me and none of us wake up sweaty. My kids are usually hot sleepers so i really like that feature.

We received this mattress as a gift, opinions in this review are my own. We have a couple of iComfort mattresses already and we put this Queen mattress in our guest room and it is so comfortable. I like soft mattresses and my husband prefers something a little bit for firm but this pleases both of us. It's nice and plush and fits right to whoever is laying on it. Guests who have come over have said now nice it is without me even asking! If you tend to feel like your overheating at night you'll notice how you don't feel that as much with this mattress. We are on a vacation right now and sleeping on different mattresses I've noticed a big difference compared to our iComforts at home.

Most comfortable bed ever!

It took me a while to write my review as I wanted to give this bed a solid couple month sleep. It was worth it! We switched from a regular mattress (Simmons Beautyrest) that finally get its end and were a little leery of a memory foam. They seem to be all the rage, but was it really right for us? The answer is a resounding yes! We loved the mattress in the store so much that we even agreed to go from our current king size to a queen (the only size they had). We chose to go with a solid base instead of the adjustable. We were a little worried about how hot the mattress would be to sleep on even though it has the cooling technology. I sleep very cool and usually need an electric blanket on me. My husband is a hot sleeper and regularly tosses the covers off. Turns out, this works well for both of us. I still warm up my side with my electric blanket, but I find that I don't need it on all night any longer as I am more comfortable (temp and comfort) in this bed. Same with my hubby - he is sleeping deeper and more comfortably. We love it and have no regrets!

I received this mattress as a gift in exchange for my honest opinion/review. We got this mattress right before a move and were getting a new bed with it as well. The bed ended up being delayed and we spent about three weeks sleeping on the mattress on the floor - and despite not actually having a bed to put the mattress in, we were wildly impressed with how comfortable and supportive it is. My husband and I both sleep great, we've been waking up free of any aches and pains, and you can really feel how supportive the mattress is as soon as you lay down. We both highly recommend it!

I never want to leave my bed!

I Iove my new Serta iComfort bed! When we first took the plastic wrapping off, you could smell that it was a brand new bed. It wasn't a horrible smell, but you could tell it was new by the new bed smell. It went away after a few hours but it wasn't really bothersome! Once we laid on the bed, my husband and I were so comfortable. We ordered the plush and it was a little hard at first (but very comfortable) but after a few days we either got used to it or it softened up. Now, I never want to leave my bed. It is so comfortable that I sleep really well and I enjoy going to bed every night. My husband even feels the same way. I really like the fact that I do not get overheated when I sleep. This mattress doesn't make me as hot as i used to be when I would sleep. This mattress is amazing and I will never go to another brand again!

A cool nights sleep!

I had never experienced a quality mattress like this! As you lie down you slowly sink into the mattress but not too much, there is still lots of support. The cooling technology on this mattress really works, you can even feel it through the sheet and your pajamas. Overall, I really liked this mattress as I don't wake up with a sore back and hips from sleeping on my side anymore and I don't wake up sweaty in the middle of the night.

Seriously this mattress is so well made that I expect it to last for years. The best nights sleep ever! The mattress material relieved all pressure points and I'm not hot or cold just perfectly coddled in comfort like sleeping on a cloud! Love this mattress!

This mattress replaced our old firm mattress that had a foam topper over it. What a difference a proper, comfortable mattress makes! I like soft beds, but need a bit of firmness for back support. This has both qualities. I melt into the bed a bit upon laying down, but don't find myself waking up to reposition throughout the night. The mattress has nice materials and a clean design. My old wish is that it had handles to makes it easier to move around.

plush and supportive mattress

I am truly impressed with the Serta iComfort CF3000 Plush Mattress. This is my first time sleeping on a memory foam mattress. I have always had traditional innerspring mattresses. I was a bit worried about how "hot" a foam mattress would be. This mattress says it has a cool-to-the-touch Max Cold Cover and that is is one of the coolest iComfort models ever. The carbon fiber memory foam with the UltraCold System really does seem to absorb body heat. It is still quite warm here in Arizona and I have felt very cool and comfortable at night. I have arthritis and I usually wake up several times a night due to pain. I rarely wake up at night since I have been sleeping on this mattress. I have restless legs at night and this mattress has improved this condition immensely. I wake up feeling much more refreshed and I have a lot less pain first thing in the morning. The mattress is so supportive and comfortable that I don't even notice my husband getting out of bed to go to work. He told me today that he has just realized that he no longer has the back pain he usually gets if he sleeps in too long on the weekends. I knew there were differences in mattress quality but I never realized how much a great mattress could improve my quality of life by helping to reduce my pain. I highly recommend this life-changing mattress.

This mattress is amazing. If you are in need of a new mattress I would highly recommend an iComfort mattress. I usually get up and move a lot during the night but I have been sleeping straight through the night with this mattress. If the dog moves it wakes me up but I do not notice the dog moving with this mattress. It has the support that I need but it is still soft and comfortable enough to support my back. I am pretty sure the dog is getting a better night sleep with this mattress as well:)

Soft but with support!

I've done my research! We purchased a memory foam mattress about three years ago and we were not happy with it, we were looking for a soft mattress but it seems like most memory mattresses are too firm and we ended up buying a mattress topper for more softness. This I-Comfort mattress has it all! This Plush type is amazing! We are so happy with it. It's soft enough for us but also provides support. I'm 5'4 135 pounds and my husband is 5'11 and 197 pounds and we both love it. I can sleep on my side and feel support in all the right places, and I've noticed I'm not moving around as much during the night. I like the feature of a zipper for the entire mattress so you can take it off and wash it. Would also like to mention that it doesn't keep us hot. We live in Arizona and so far we haven't experienced hot spots while sleeping. Only thing that I would suggest is opening it up and leaving it to air out for a couple of days, there was a little smell.

This mattress is the best mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both have some back problems so a really comfortable mattress is important for us to be able to sleep peacefully and this mattress is exactly what we needed. We love the memory foam because it adjusts to our bodies better than other mattresses and offers more support. Our last memory foam mattress felt too hot during the summer though. That's why we loved that this one was designed to keep cool. My husband gets very warm when he is sleeping but this mattress kept him from getting too hot. I tend to stay up much later than my husband so it's important to us to have a mattress that won't move the other person around when I'm getting into bed. This mattress is great for that. When I climb into bed late or if I move around for any reason it doesn't disturb him at all. We both agreed that this mattress was the best sleep we have ever gotten.

Fantastic Mattress

We love this mattress! The firmness of our mattress is plush, and it feels so soft and comfy to lie on. But it's not so soft that you're sinking too far in - it actually gives a lot of support. We like the look of the mattress too - the two tone added to the design. Sleeping on this new mattress is great and we've noticed longer rest times with less discomfort in the mornings as opposed to when waking up on our old mattress and our backs hurt. Overall a great mattress and we love it!

This mattress is the best! It is so comfortable - my wife and I both love it. Do keep in mind it is very tall, taller than our previous mattress which means it come higher on our headboard which could be a problem for some beds. Overall the quality seems great and we are very happy.

I am 36 years old and I've never had the luxury of having a quality mattress. I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, upon receiving it I felt it and it was incredibly firm... I knew it had memory foam so I just assumed it'd be fine and I was absolutely correct! I dont think I ever knew what true comfortable sleep was before, this thing is magic! I usually get really warm when I sleep but I don't using this mattress and your body just melts into the memory foam. It is incredibly comfortable and you can tell it's made with the highest of quality.

This honestly is the best mattress I have ever owned. In this household we tend to lean towards memory foam for comfort and we were not disappointed this time around. This mattress is super thick, super soft, supportive and most of all comfortable for everyone. One of my favorite things about this mattress is that it does seem to be a lot cooler than other memory foam mattresses and that is a big plus here in a state where it is hot most of the year. The only thing that i can say con wise about this mattress is the fact that I need to buy deeper sheets for them to fit properly.
