Doesn't hold up

Was great for the first few months but soon my wife and I were sleeping in the trenches made by the collapsing mattress. We often had to "climb the ridge" in order to kiss goodnight. After a year, we are in the market for a new mattress because we both are having back and neck issues. Definitely does not hold up over time. We're average weight, probably less than average really, and the mattress just sagged over time. We rotated (not suppose to flip this kind) but that just meant my wife would sleep in my trench and I would sleep in hers.

The Cooling Actually Works!

This bed is amazing! It actually replaced a ten year old Tempurpedic, and we have found the Sealy more comfortable than the Tempurpedic was new. The cooling technology really works, and I have the Sealy cooling mattress cover ordered and on the way!

Actual size 74x80... 2" narrowed than a king

Big problem! The bed frame we bought to go with mattress does not fit this mattress right because it is 74x80 NOT 76x80 which is a king..... we are returning the mattress, the outside edges are not supported properly by the frame Its too bad its a NICE mattress but not a true kind size bed, 2" doesn't sound like much until it doesn't fit your frame Buyer beware

Best sleep we have had in a long time.

We just love this mattress. We have been sleeping on it for over six months now and we could not believe the difference from our worn 15 year old mattress and this new firm Serta mattress. After only 18 months this mattress has failed.

. In the begining it was a good sleep experience. Now after only 2 years there is no support where I sleep. It feels as if I have fallen into a hole which is difficult to get out of. The side where I sit to dress has no support and compresses to the foundation. I would caution anyone who is considering this to be careful in there choice.

It took me a few nights of sleep to get used to the firmness after switching from a very soft bed but once I did I fell in love. So supportive and I sleep great. It is very firm so make sure that's what you want. Would definitely recommend

I tend to have issues with sleeping and discomfort and feel as if this mattress has helped to alleviate some of them. It is really well made and durable. It is firm but with a little give. A good size mattress that fit nicely within our bed frame.

I'm so happy to have this mattress! I honestly never thought I'd have a memory foam top mattress because in my experience they've usually been too soft or they end up breaking down quickly but this model has really impressed me. I'd been having back problems and now after switching mattresses I can see that my old mattress was definitely contributing to my back pain and my new iComfort gives me the support that I need; for the first time in about a year I'm actually getting quality sleep. It's neither too soft or too firm and overall just feels so comfortable. This has really been working well for me and it makes me sorry that I didn't invest in a quality mattress sooner!

This bed is incredible! I chose the CF4000 firm. And let me tell you, it has provided the most incredibly comforting, stable yet plush support. We are both back sleepers and this particular Serta provides the best rest we have had in a long time. We were both waking up grumpy, achy with low back pain for weeks from our fancy select air mattress bed that did not bring any comfort ;-) This bed is built with the all the best things. The foam and the springs work together in perfect harmony, bringing at long last, peaceful rest and pain relief! Finally a great nights sleep!

This iComfort CF4000 mattress has been the missing piece of our lives! My husband and I both have a hard time sleeping and this bed has helped us so much! My husband is a light sleeper so he used to wake up everytime our kids would try and climb in or I would get up for water. This bed absorbs all of that movement and leaves him sound asleep when there are movements throughout the bed. The bed is firm with the perfect amount of cushion. I haven't had a nights sleep this amazing for as long as I can remember! The bed doesn't need a box spring which looks so nice in my opinion! I love the height of the mattress. It fits a deep pocket sheet perfectly! I can't explain enough how comfortable this mattress is and how much you need it in your life! I'm so happy to be excited to go to bed and not dread what I will feel like in the morning. The material and design of the mattress is so classic, clean and beautiful! The outter material can be unzipped, taken off, and washed which just adds another level of convenience! Accidents happen. I highly recommend this bed to anyone and everyone!!

Awesome Bed

This bed is so wonderfully comfortable. It offers a great deal of support and doesn't feel stuffy or overheated. Seriously at one point the whole family and all the pets climbed and and it was still really really comfortable. It is a little taller than my previous mattress and it is quite heavy to move it, but I can't complain because it gives a great night's sleep.

Pretty good so far. I can tell that as a heavier person it may not last decades but who keeps their mattress for decades? It's comfortable and I sleep really good! The firmness isn't super firm but firm enough that I don't complain about my sleeping any more. It does get warm but we having cooling sheets we use so it helps combat that.

Firm but not Hard

This Serta mattress is the perfect amount of firmness without being hard and uncomfortable. I found it the most comfortable to sleep on my back on this mattress because it is so supportive but it also comfortable to sleep on my side. I am on the small side so I don't put that much force onto a mattress but my husband is a pretty large guy and even with his extra weight he finds the mattress to be very supportive and he sleeps better on this mattress than I have seen him sleep on anything else. He also likes how cooling it is because he gets hot when he sleeps and he doesn't wake up from being hot on this mattress. It is also nice and plush and it just invites you in to have a great nights sleep.

Very Comfortable

When it comes to mattresses, I am very fussy as I have arthritis in my spine. The iComfort CF4000 (firm) is perfect for my back. There is a lot of support in the mattress and yet it has that luxurious soft feel. The mattress truly conforms to the curves of my body. I am a side sleeper and my husband sleeps on his back and both of us find it very comfortable. There is no sagging and the mattress doesn't get a lot of motion when one of us moves around. One feature this mattress has, that I hadn't experienced before, is the cooling system. Memory foam can be quite warm to sleep on, but the cooling system in this mattress really does regulate the heat so that I don't get too hot. The quality of this mattress is top notch. Highly recommend!

Best Mattress I have ever owned!!

This is by far the best, most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. It is firm, and full of support, but not at all hard or uncomfortable. I have back problems, and I don't think I have ever had such a good nights sleep. There is no sound with this mattress. When you move, silence. When you get in bed or out of bed, no noise. There is also very little movement. I can not feel when my partner moves or gets in or out of bed. We put this mattress in our son's room, and now we all argue over who is sleeping in there. Luxury is the first word I think of when I get in this bed.

have been sleeping on my new bed for about a month now.I am no longer an insomniac! I wake up refreshed and ready to tackle my day, I feel supported and cradled while I sleep. This mattress is firm but soft at the same time. But the best part is that if you run hot this bed is a lifesaver.It wicks away heat so you sleep cooler and more comfortable. I am in LOVE with this mattress so far! I have had nothing but good experiences with it! The one thing I want people to know is how HEAVY this mattress is! You are going to need at least 2 people to get it moved into whatever room you want it in. It's heavy because it is made VERY well. It is VERY high quality and very, very durable. The stitching is perfect as well. It's just put together with care, and this makes me believe this mattress will last me a long, long time! This mattress is a firm mattress but it is not TOO firm. It forms to your body shape, and has some give when you lay on it. I am very pleased with that because I don't like TOO firm but I don't like sinking clear into the mattress either. This is just perfect. Another thing I love about this mattress is that it is made with carbon fiber memory foam. This means it is SOFT and it keeps you VERY cool when you sleep! It keeps you from overheating when sleeping, so that you are comfortable! I have never had a mattress that does this and it has been a lifesaver for sure. Like I said before, the foam forms to your body, and because of this, it helps relieve any aches and pains you may have! Waking up with NO pain has been life changing! For this mattress, you don't really need a box spring either. It is thick and comes off of the ground pretty high. You can use one of course, but I would say it's not needed! That is really, really nice. Not everyone wants/needs a box spring, so this mattress is perfect in that regard as well. You will feel rested and refreshed on this mattress no matter if you have a box spring or not. All in all, this mattress has been nothing but AMAZING. I have never had a mattress so nice and comfortable. I am wanting to go out and get another one because this one has been so nice! I highly, HIGHLY recommend this to everyone! If you want a relaxed, pain free sleep, GET THIS MATTRESS!!! You will not regret it!! Pros: Quality, Durability, Comfort, No pain! Cons: NONE!!!

Soft but Firm

I have tried this mattress for a few days now and it feels amazing to lie down on it. It is soft but firm. The material prevents you from sinking into the mattress. It is a quality mattress that is quite thick and seems durable too. It has a comfortable feel to it. I love the way it looks too. It provides support and feels a little plush like. It isn't extremely heavy so it's easy to move it around. I'd definitely recommend this to everyone.

I love this mattress so much! I'm from Vietnam and used to really firm mattresses we use over there, so when I came to the states I had a hard time finding a mattress that has the firmness to my liking. Fortunately I think my search has ended at the Serta iComfort CF4000 Firm. This mattress is great for people with shoulder and back pains like myself. The most comfortable mattress I've ever had!

I've been sleeping so well since I've gotten this mattress! It is firm, but soft enough that it conforms to your body. I have back and neck issues so I wanted a firmer mattress that gave good support. I am pleased to say I've awakened without hurting and I feel well rested. The mattress is thick and has a nice cover, so you do not need a box spring. I did put a mattress pad on to help prevent my sheets from sliding. The mattress did have a slight odor for a couple days which went away. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and comfort of the mattress.

Fantastic Mattress

After sleeping on this for a month I can finally give it a review! At first I was skeptical as this is just the mattress and no box spring. But after sleep on it for a month I have no complaints or worries. This is a little firmer mattress but luckily both my husband and I agree on that. This is a very well high end mattress. What is nice is it can be used as with an adjustable bed too if that is something you are interested in. My husband and I both sleep very well and most of the night on this. Now my kids want one like it, keep dreaming children. I can't recommend this bed enough.

Well rested sleep

This mattress makes me excited to go to bed every night! My last mattress was really stiff and I was always in pain when I woke up. But just having slept on this mattress for a few nights has already relieved some of my back pain. I definitely recommend this mattress to anyone who loves waking up well rested. When I lay down the mattress bends to how I'm laying and makes sleeping so much more enjoyable! Sleeping won't be the same after you try this mattress! The material the mattress is made of is very soft and soothing to the touch. Every night it's like sleeping on a cloud. The design of the mattress makes it seem much larger then a queen but I assure you that it will fit like a glove if you have a queen sized bed frame! If asked to change this mattress, I would simply have to refuse. I hope.

Nicest mattress I have ever owned!

This iComfort CF4000 Firm mattress is amazing! Each night I have slept on it I have had well rested sleep and wake up feeling great. The mattress is incredibly comfortable and is nicer than any mattress I have ever owned. I like firm mattresses for support and the memory foam top of this mattress is just plush enough that it contours to my body and truly relieves my back pain. I really like the cold cover on this and its helped keep me cool all night long. I no longer awaken due to tossing and turning from discomfort or from temperature changes in the night. I can sleep well rested the entire night and wake up feeling great, instead of sore and achy as I was experiencing with my previous mattress. I highly recommend this mattress if you like a firm mattress and suffer from aches and pains. I had no idea a mattress could provide this much comfort and happiness! Serta does it again! Serta beds have always been my favorite, they understand my comfort needs. This mattress exceeded my expectations of a firm bed! It is very firm but not like a floor, it comforts every curve of your body; no matter the position. It isnt bouncy, or squeaking in any way! I love how its very firm and yet still so cushioned in its own way. It wont desturb your partner when you move or get up, which in my case im so grateful for that! It's extremely well made! I feel like it was created for me in mind! I seriously never want to leave it, Ive gotten the best feeling sleep ive had in awhile from it. A fantastic nights sleep!

The Serta CF4000 firm is the most comfortable mattress I have ever had! We have had this mattress several weeks and each night our sleep gets better and better. Our bed is a queen so the mattress measured the usual 60"x80" but the depth was 13.5" and weighs over 100 lbs! The mattress made of carbon fiber infused memory foam contours to your body relieving aches and pain caused by pressure points. We chose the firm mattress as it provides excellent back and neck support. The wonderful thing about this mattress for those of us living in places like our native Arizona is the way the mattress keeps the heat away from your body, instead of creating more heat it is actually cooling in our hot summers! Best investment you can get for a good night's sleep and support.

Great firm mattress that keeps you cool

Given that you spend 1/3 of your life on your mattress, I've historically placed a high priority on a high quality mattress and I'm willing to spend a lot on a good mattress. And due to back pain, I've been going through a lot of mattresses in the past few years. I started with innerspring mattresses, because I was most familiar with them. But as you know they tend to sag over time if you don't rotate them. Then I read about memory foam mattresses and got a Sleep Science one. It was better for support and isolation, but a firm Sleep Science mattress is FIRM! I tried putting on a softer mattress top and a feather top, to the point I defeated the purpose of having a firm mattress in the first place. I then went back to an innerspring and bought the Heavenly bed. Surely paying a lot of a mattress means better sleep! (a lie). As many reviews wrote (and I didn't trust), the home-version of the Heavenly bed is not the same as the hotel version. Finally I got this mattress. I'd forgotten how much more support you get with a foam mattress. You're supported on all points instead of just where the springs are. When you toss and turn, you don't interrupt your partner as there is better isolation. The little bumps on this mattress took a bit of getting used to, but actually felt comfortable after a few days. Coming from an innerspring again firm felt really firm at first, but after getting used to it again over a couple days I'm sleeping well. The mattress advertises being cooler than other memory foam mattresses, which I notice when I have a light duvet on, but with a thick duvet it feels fairly similar to my other mattresses. My husband on the other hand DEFINITELY noticed it was cooler. I didn't even tell him it was one of the mattress features and he mentioned on his own that he loved how much cooler this mattress felt. Overall this is a very comfortable mattress (for a firm version) and it'll be staying on our bed. And a final note for others with back pain - sounds like most issues with back pain stem from a core imbalance, so look into that too in addition to upgrading your bed!

I have never slept on this type of mattress before I got this. I am so happy that I made this choice, the firmness level is exactly what I like and the quality and feel of the mattress is impressive. I have the firm version, and it's super comfortable. The mattress is soft and has good firmness. It's not an uncomfortable firmness. It still has a plush feel to it. It fits my form well, providing me good support to me back and waist.

Great Mattress

The iComfort CF4000 Firm mattress came just in time as our old mattress was shot. I was really tired of waking up with a sore back and always tired. With my old mattress I would toss and turn all night long and would never get a good nights rest. I really like iComfort CF4000 Firm mattress. The 1st night I slept on it I noticed a big difference. When my husband moved on the mattress I noticed I didn't feel him move at all. I also woke up the next day with out my back not hurting. I felt like I was well rested. A good nights sleep

Previously we were using a traditional innerspring mattress and taking more than an hour to fall asleep. We received this mattress a few days ago and instantly noticed how well it was made. As soon as we laid down we were amazed at the comfort and support from the mattress. It didn't droop, but worked well to contour to our bodies. It also is good at keeping us cool instead of getting warm fast. I am looking forward to getting better quality sleep because of this mattress in the future.

Amazing Sleep

Let me start off by saying this is the 5th mattress I've had in 6 years. I've finally found the one! The Serta icomfort CF 4000 is just amazing. Mainly because the aches and pains have dramatically reduced. I and husband habe bad backs so we needed a firm bed. An until our serta they were never firm enough. Yet the memory foam is so comfortable. So when people ask of it's hard.. No it's comfortable! So much I don't want to ever leave my bed again. The comfort keeping you cool really helps. I sleep much more sound and can tell I wake up better rested. It is what I have been looking for. An the mattress thickness is perfect. I like how tall it is. I chose firm as I previously had a gel/memory foam only that quickly started giving in on the edges and made for an uncomfortable night. This mattress is super heavy duty and you can see the multiple layers of different materials. The firmness level is exactly what I needed for my Rheumatoid Arthritis pain as it supports my body evenly. I have felt a significant improvement in my sleep comfort. I do not toss and turn all night trying to get comfortable and to alleviate my joint pain and fatigue. I find the same support from head to toe and whether I sleep on my back, stomach, or side. This mattress feels well made and I strongly feel it will hold up for many years.
